Land Clearing and Grubbing

Land Clearing and Grubbing in Waco

An overgrown or wooded lot has to be opened up before any excavation or building can begin. Innovationcongress removes trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grubs out the stumps and roots below the surface so the ground is truly clear. We either haul the debris off or mulch it on site, leaving a Waco-area parcel ready for grading, a driveway, or a foundation.

Why Grubbing Below Grade Matters

Cutting brush at the surface is not clearing. If stumps and root balls stay in the ground, they rot, settle, and leave voids that undermine a pad or a driveway years down the road. Grubbing pulls that organic material out below grade so the subgrade you build on is stable. It is the difference between a lot that looks clear and one that is actually ready to carry structural fill and compaction.

Our Process

We call 811 first, then work the lot with the right machine for the density, whether that is a skid steer with a mulcher on light brush or a dozer and excavator on heavy tree cover. Stumps and roots come out, debris is hauled off or mulched, and the ground is left rough-graded and ready for the next step. Clearing across McLennan County is priced by the acre, and we quote after we see the terrain in person.
