Innovationcongress handles land excavation for property owners, builders, and contractors across Waco, Texas and the surrounding McLennan County communities. Waco soil is not always cooperative. The clay common around town swells when it is wet and shrinks when it dries, which is exactly why careful grading and proper compaction matter. We measure for the real conditions in the ground, cut and fill to the plan, and test the subgrade toward 95 percent of maximum dry density so the pad holds. Getting that right up front is what keeps a slab from cracking later.
